Desktop Application (AIR)

Posted on August 11th, 2009 by Chris Coyier

There is now a desktop application for Are My Sites Up! Many thanks to the Adobe AIR programmer r0mk1n for creating it. Because it’s built on AIR, it should run on any platform.

This application is FREE for all users. GO TO INSTALL PAGE

    Just installed it. Great!

  2. The app works just fine. Thanks for the good work.

The app works great. I have a suggestion for improvement, can the icon in the system tray change from the green checkmark to the red exclamation point if a site is down?

  4. This program does not work under Linux x64 (Kubuntu Karmic 9.10). I can install it and log in, but none of my sites show up once I do. Also, I can’t minimize to the system tray.

  5. I forgot to add that the app won’t remember my login settings once I restart it. I have to enter both login and password every time I open it, even if “remember me” is checked.

Bernardo Kuri, i have no linux x64 for testing ;(
