Three Tiers of Premium: Standard, Plus, and Pro

Posted on March 24th, 2009 by Chris Coyier

Big News!

We have and all-new system for Premium Service on Are My Sites Up. There are now three different tiers of Premium: Premium Standard, Premium Plus, and Premium Pro.

Go check out the features and see which plan is right for you!

All existing Premium users, you are now Premium Pro users, you get all the features you had before, and more!

All existing free service users, your account is exactly the same except the number of sites you can monitor is limited to 5. If you have more sites than that added now, that is OK, you are grandfathered in with that number, but you will not be able to add any new ones until you drop down below that level. Sorry about that, but number of sites was our single biggest scaling factor and it had to be done to ensure quality of service for all.

  1. Can you add the “free” level to your upgrade chart? It would help understand what the differences are.

Also, can you include links to more information about each of the features?
    Examples:
    * Like the RSS “instant check”; What does that do?

Would it be possible to buy some of this stuff á la carte? I’d like the keyword check but don’t really need anything else.

    Ciao!

Looks like my account wasn’t transferred, but since I won the premium membership in a contest, I won’t complain. And I agree with Christian on adding the “free” level to the chart.

Thanks for offering multiple levels of premium, though.

  3. Guillaume says:

Maybe add in settings the possibility to choose the delay between each check for pro/premium.
Example : choose between 1 min to 15 min for the account or for each site… :)
